LATAM Collaboration Network: AI for Diabetes

As part of the UdG-Dexcom Chair in Artificial Intelligence for Diabetes, MICELAB is proud to help launch a new regional initiative: the LATAM Collaboration Network: AI for Diabetes.

This network brings together researchers across Latin America who are working at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and diabetes care.

🤝 A Collaborative Initiative

In partnership with Dr. Lyvia Biagi Bertachi, this initiative aims to foster regional collaboration, promote scientific excellence, and strengthen Latin America’s presence in the global AI and health research landscape.


🎯 Goals of the Network

  1. Promote joint scientific projects among Latin American researchers

  2. Share resources and experiences across institutions

  3. Boost international visibility of research produced in LATAM

  4. Facilitate access to new funding opportunities

  5. Build strategic links between research centers, universities, and labs across the region

Do you want to collaborate, co-author, or co-develop solutions in digital health?

Then this network is for you. We welcome researchers at all stages—from PhD students to senior scientists—who are passionate about innovation and cross-border collaboration.
